Okies! We have laid out our time for our shoots so we can get down to progressing. We have booked the camera kit for the Easter break for our shoot time which will take place on both a Monday and the following day Tuesday. I have made arrangements with a representative of RSPCA who happens to be the education manager whose name is Lauren Preston. Not only did she agree to participate and take the time to travel to the city from Wollongong, she offered to invite celebrity hip-hop singer Israel to join as well as he worked closely with RSPCA in promotion for animal rights and welfare.
At first I was very surprised that she offered to do all this for us, but then I though why would she take us so seriously even if we are just a bunch of students working on a project. Guess there are quite a lot of nice people out there.
So now it’s a matter of making sure we have everything prepared, we have already discussed the location of where we are filming. The interview will be conducted outside Insearch Blue building, in an open area near the Zegafredo cafĂ© to give it a livelier atmosphere of the city crowd and traffic, we don’t want it to be silent, it may bore people.
As for the advertisement, one of our members, Kayu, volunteered that we use a large park oval near his suburb of Matraville for shooting as it is a natural spot and a large open space to camera positioning, as well as lending us his pet dog. This is selected because we took into account that many stray and homeless dogs would venture into parks, so that location would fit the plot of our video.
