First Shooting – Interview with RSPCA Staff

After keep contacting RSPCA through email for about a month, we managed to have an appointment with RSPCA staff, Lauren and Stephanie. Our group members met at 12.30 in front of CPSU and picked up the camera kit. We moved to the blue building and prepared for the shooting such as setting up the camera and rehearsing the interview question while we were waiting for RSPCA staff.

After they arrived, we started shooting the video. They brought a lovely dog that is waiting to be adopted, so we decided to shoot the interview with the dog. Shreshta was an interviewer and she gave them the interview question lists and let them to read. As our group planned, the most of the shots size were mid shot and little bit of close up shot. We had several NGs because of the playful dog but we were able to finish the filming with good shots with good interview.

The interview video contains the general roles of RSPCA and issues and story of abandoned animals. They emphasised that there are lot of animals which need help and support in the interview. This video also will be very helpful for the campaign we are promoting because the interview gives a lot of information that people don’t know.

It was very good time with Lauren, Stephanie and our group members. Even though our shooting was a bit unprofessional but we had good experience of shooting video.
