Alrighty, we’ve finalised, I mean it this time… our ideas for both our videos have been discussed and we as a group has agreed to the following ideas:
Formal Interview:
• A formal interview with the staff representative of RSPCA
• Various questions about animal welfare organisations, issues, and future plans will be answered.
• An informative video to raise social awareness about our topic.
• Roughly ~10 – 15 minutes long.
Video Advertisement:
• A short advertisement video that will include a short plot, not too complicated about a stray dog that has been abandoned by his previous owners.
• His wonders around a park oval alone.
• He attempts the gains the attention of various residents that stroll through the park.
• Most of the residents ignore him but eventually one person will pay attention is his plead and take him in as his own pet.
• Roughly ~ 2 – 3 minutes long.
Target Audience:
Our target audience will be aimed towards international students from UTS Insearch as through a survey I have conducted throughout different classes from different faculties many international survey were not aware of such organisations dedicated to the safety and well being of animals. So we designed this video to actually inform and raise awareness about this issue and that there a people that actually take this seriously.
That is the rundown of the final idea we have for our videos. We are planning to being production for these videos during the Easter break that we have, it not only provides us more freedom to move around but also suit everyone’s time as they all have other events and activities to attend to. But the exact time for shooting will still be finalised, it is just a matter of getting and booking the equipment that we will need. Pre-emptive preparation will save us a heck of a lot of time, so that we can get straight into it.
